How we preserve Ayurvedic Authenticity:
Preserving Traditional Wisdom: We don’t alter fundamental concepts of Ayurveda. We simply apply them in their true forms in our health and wellness guides.
Providing Knowledge on Modern Application: We offer practical applications of Ayurveda for contemporary, fast-paced lifestyles.
Putting Safety First: Every recommendation from us meets modern safety standards. If there are any potential contraindications, we relay that to you first thing.
Drawing from Evidence and Experience: Classical Ayurvedic texts aren’t our only sources. We rely on clinical experience, relevant research and more to create content.
The People Behind the Curtains
- What should be covered: Detailed profiles of the content creators.
- Expansion: Describe the qualifications of your authors (BAMS doctors, specialized Vaidyas, and certified Ayurvedic Health Counselors). Emphasize that your content isn't written by generic copywriters, but by practitioners who have "Clinical Experience"—the 'E' in EEAT. Mention the involvement of the Kerala Ayurveda Academy faculty.
The Multi-Stage Medical Review Process
Every piece of health content published by Kerala Ayurveda follows a structured, multi stage editorial and medical review process. This ensures that we bring you accurate, safe, and responsible health content. Below’s what our process looks like.
Phase 1: Research and Sourcing
We analyze what's missing when people search for Ayurvedic health information online, and we fill those gaps.
Each topic we select is grounded in true Ayurvedic knowledge drawn from classical texts such as the Ashtanga Hridayam and Charaka Samhita, and etc. We then marry this knowledge with modern clinical research where appropriate.
Phase 2: Medical Review
The second stage involves an internal medical review. Our expert team led by experienced Ayurvedic physicians, including Senior Vaidyas and MD (Ayu) professionals checks the content for safety and accuracy compliances.
Everything from clinical safety of ingredients, appropriate dosage to contraindications etc is double-checked in case of Product Pages.
Phase 3: Final Editorial Polish
We value the flair along with accuracy. Hence we put our content through a third editorial refinement stage.
The content is reviewed to ensure clarity, readability, and accessibility for modern readers. However, we ensure none of this compromises depth and accuracy of Ayurvedic concepts.
Sanskrit terminology is explained with care, without losing original nuance. This way readers receive information that is both authentic and easy to understand.
Our Voice
We write the way a trusted Ayurvedic practitioner speaks: with warmth, clarity, and genuine care for your wellbeing.
We treat you as a person, not a patient. Whether you're dealing with fatigue, stress, trouble sleeping, or seasonal discomfort, we meet you where you are.
We keep things conversational. Think of our articles as sitting down with an Ayurvedic doctor who takes time to listen and explain. No jargon walls. No talking down. Just clear, thoughtful guidance.
We make Ayurveda easy-to-understand. We explain Sanskrit terms and traditional concepts in simple language. Hence, you don't need years of study on how these ancient practices can help you today.
No tall claims and unrealistic promises. We don’t promise “miracle cures,” “instant reliefs” etc. Neither do we use “fear” tactics. We share what Ayurveda genuinely offers and are also honest about when you might need additional support.
We respect your intelligence. Our goal is to give you solid information so you can make thoughtful decisions about your own health. We're here to inform and support, not to pressure or oversell.
Our Sources
We don’t take transparency for granted. Every claim we make and every recommendation we offer can be traced back to authoritative sources.
Primary Vedic Texts
We draw directly from classical Ayurvedic literature that has guided practitioners for thousands of years. This includes foundational texts such as Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridayam,Sahasrayogam to name a few.
Government Standards & Guidelines
Our content is aligned with established regulatory frameworks, including:
- ISO 9001:2015 Certification
- GMP Certified
- Approved R&D lab from DST/DSIR since 1992
- Licensed from the Ministry of AYUSH (Government of India)
- WHO Benchmarks for Training in Ayurveda
- Pharmacopoeia standards for Ayurvedic formulations
Peer-Reviewed Research
We also incorporate findings from scientific journals and clinical studies that examine Ayurvedic herbs. Our sources include:
- Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine
- Kerala Journal of Ayurveda
- PubMed-indexed studies on herbs such as Ashwagandha, Turmeric, Brahmi, and others
- Clinical trials validating traditional Ayurvedic approaches
Medical Claims & Safety Transparency
We practice honesty above all. This commitment to truth is how we earn and keep your trust. Hence we are clear about the below things:
Ayurveda as a Traditional System of Medicine
Ayurveda offers profound insights into health and prevention techniques. But at the same time, we recognize it works best as part of a broader wellness approach.
We DO NOT position Ayurveda as an alternative for emergency care or necessary medical treatment. We consider it a strong adjunct to modern healthcare and understand its limitations.
We also relay where Ayurveda can truly shine, for instance when dealing with pain management, digestive health, stress related disorders, metabolic balance, immune support etc.
How We Handle Health Claims
We don’t make inaccurate health claims to make you buy our products. Every health fact we present is either based in traditional texts, clinical evidence, or research references. In some cases it's all of the three.
We still ask ourselves “Are we being honest about expected outcomes?”
Health is complex and individual responses to medications and health tips can vary. Hence, we don’t make absolute promises ever.
When we discuss benefits of specific herbs, treatments, or practices, we cite our sources. This approach aligns with guidelines for health information transparency. But honestly? We'd do it anyway. Because responsible care means telling the truth.
Conflict of Interest & Commercial Independence
We sell Ayurvedic products. We also publish educational content. But these two functions remain separate by design.
Editorial Independence
Every blog, guide, etc is created with your learning and wellbeing as the primary goal. We write about Ayurvedic principles, herbs, and practices because we want this knowledge to be accessible to everyone. Whether you ever purchase anything from us or not is totally your choice.
Medical Review Without Commercial Pressure
Our medical reviewers evaluate content based purely on accuracy, safety, and alignment with Ayurveda. They are in no way incentivized to recommend specific products. Their job is to simply ensure the information we share is correct, complete, and helpful.
When We Do Mention Products
Our product and collection pages are meant to sell but even there we explain the traditional reasoning and therapeutic rationale.
In a blog post, if Kerala Ayurveda offers a relevant product, we may mention it for convenience. But never without enough information. We want you to understand the underlying principle, so you can make informed decisions.
Our content is meant to serve your understanding first. Sales, if they happen, are a byproduct of trust.
Holistic Health & Individuality
Ayurveda values your uniqueness. It understands your body, your tendencies and your needs.
Personalization at the Core
Ayurveda understands that health isn't universal. It's individual. Your Prakriti meaning your fundamental constitution, shapes how you respond to food, weather, stress, and treatment. Hence, we avoid giving blanket advice.
From dietary guidelines to herbal remedies and lifestyle practices, our content is framed through this lens.
We also offer support treatments for Gut health, Skeletal and Muscular Health and more.
at our clinics worldwide. We extend our health and wellness work through Ayurvedagram, our luxury wellness resorts. While our Ayurvedic Academies help you understand the inner workings of the ancient tradition of Ayurveda yourself.
Guidance, Not Prescription
With this personalized approach, we give you the frameworks to understand your own patterns. We explain all the reasons behind the recommendations. We guide you on what could work but never prescribe.
When dealing with complex or chronic conditions, we always recommend consulting a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner at Kerala Ayurveda’s clinics. Our role is to educate and inform.
